Peekapak Subscription Review for November 2014

I subscribe to a lot of great kids boxes like Citrus Lane, BrambleBox & KiwiCrate which is why I was very excited to check out the Peekapak Subscription service!

Peekapak deems itself as a storytelling and activity subscription service for kids. Each month you receive an original storybook, creative activities integrated with the store and learning elements designed by educators. You can save $10 off your first PeekaPak by signing up through this link.

This month’s book was “The Peekapak Pals and the Sounds of Music”. The book was about the trying out to join the PeekaPak Band. So naturally the activity kit with the book was geared towards making your own musical instruments.

Inside the box, we got a cute sack of tools including: kids scissors, scotch tape & crayons.

Also inside the box were materials to make our own musical instruments. The instruments include a Bear Rattle Drum, Microphone Maracas, and Menka’s Pan Flute.

BoxMom Review: Overall his is a pretty solid box. I would say that it’s geared towards a younger child maybe around 3-5. But what I really like about this box is that it comes with an original book and activities to go along with this book. It’s an education lesson and activity in one.

So, did you DO the crafts? How did you find them (easy-peasy, challenging…)?
And do you have kids ages 3-5 (knowing their capability for doing the sent crafts)?
